Another adventure...another blog.
Tough Mudder was tough. When we finished (4 hours after we started) I felt like I could eat a whole zebra. I was hungry and tired and sore. It was awesome but I was ruined. Husband, on the other hand, was bouncy, full of beans..."I could keep going." he said.
"well I bloody couldn't" I said as I peered at him through my 1non mud filled contact lens.
Walking into maccas after the race with Rardi my bro and husband, wearing a towel and unable to hear out of my mud filled right ear I thought I heard husband say he wanted to run a marathon. I must have misheard him... A marathon?
Maybe he said he wanted to have a bun and marry a Pom? It turns out that, no, he really thought he would try his hand at the marathon.
A few weeks later after a "break" (read Tim tam eating frenzy) we purchased a how to run a marathon book and I started to do some research. Ever supportive wife that I am I thought I could help husband train.
Then it happened, I got the bug, I too could do a marathon! Maybe...
So here we are blogging about our journey.
Like the last journey (we went on a trip around Australia in case you missed it) this one would be long, sometimes hard, lots of fun and a real challenge.
Join us as we go from mud to 42km.
Xxxxx
